David Schneider - Fringe Photography

About David Schneider

David Schneider, a wildlife and nature photographer, focuses on bringing alive each creature and
scene his camera sees. With a unique point of view and style, his prints capture the color, beauty
and soul of his subjects. His affinity for nature extends into the scenic arena as well. His landscapes
bring out the incredible emotion, beauty and grandeur of the Southwest; his prints will take you
from the tops of misty mountains to the shifting sands of the deep desert, letting you always be in
the moment.

Every photo has a story. With each print, some of David is included. His short stories might
provide some background information, or they might provide some of his thoughts and feelings as
he created it. The story might be about the animal or scene itself, or it might be a bit of whimsical
prose. In every case, though, the vignette reflects David.

All of David’s prints are metallic, which adds an incredible dimension and quality. The prints are
amazingly rich and vibrant, with a very subtle three dimensional quality. His extensive work in this
medium allows him to create pieces that sparkle and shine with an inner glow. Further, he often
extends the story of the print into the matting and framing, creating truly unique and original
artwork that transcends traditional photography.

David is passionate about wildlife, especially rescues and rehabilitation animals. He is privileged to
directly work with many rescue groups, helping to spread their message and imagery. For every
sale of a rescued animal, he donates 10% of each sale back to the hosting organization. He has
made significant contributions to Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, Wildlife Rescue, Inc, and the Monero
Mustangs Sanctuary.

David lives in Tijeras, New Mexico, just outside of the Cibola National Forest. He prefers to be
outside whenever possible, in his “studio”--the great Southwest. He believes in being one with
nature, and not a day goes by that he doesn’t find something new to be amazed and delighted by.
With a lifelong interest in photography and nature, his passions combine, providing arresting
photographs for everyone.
